Dance for Musical Theater


$40 COSTUME FEE

This technique-focused class blends Broadway-style choreography with the foundational dance training every musical theatre performer needs to advance. Students build the technique, terminology, and audition skills that lead to better roles, sharper stage presence, and long-term growth. All students perform in a showcase each December and May.

In this playful and creative musical theatre class, young performers ages 4–8 will explore the world of theatre through singing, dancing, and acting. With a focus on self-expression, teamwork, and storytelling, students will use music, movement, and imagination to discover their voices, build confidence, and connect with others. Families will be invited to showcases in December and May to see their performers step into the spotlight and share what they’ve learned.

Tap is essential for advancing in musical theatre, and this class builds the skills performers need at any level. Students learn key tap vocabulary, timing, and musicality while working through Broadway-inspired combinations that strengthen technique and stage presence. Whether you’re brand new or already tapping, you’ll enhance the skills you’ve developed and build exciting new ones. Tap shoes required. Performances in December and May.

Improv

Welcome to the wild world of Improv! Led by seasoned improv performer Zach Coder, this high-energy class helps kids build confidence, creativity, and quick thinking through games, characters, and unscripted scenes. Perfect for aspiring performers, Improv teaches teamwork, bold choices, and how to shine when the unexpected happens on stage. *Studies show Improv is one of the most impactful activities for kids—boosting communication, social skills, and confidence while reducing anxiety.

This upbeat group voice class is part of Taylor Williams’ joyful Sing Happy! program, designed specifically for young singers. Students explore fun warm-ups, age-appropriate songs, and simple harmonies while learning breath support, pitch, and performance basics. Confident, happy singers are the goal—and every semester ends with a friends-and-family performance in December and May!
